Service project sends thanks to local teachers
Let’s hear it for the library’s Tween Advisory Group (TAG) and Teen Advisory Board (TAB) who earlier this fall created nearly 200 tiedyed face masks for teachers and staff at High School District 214 and Arlington Heights School District 25. The tween and teen volunteers staged a smooth (and fun!) production in the parking lot of the library’s future makerspace and the payoff was a colorful assortment of masks each accompanied by a handdrawn message of thanks to our local educators. Great job, TAG and TAB!
