Bumps & Babies

Resource Fair

Do you love babies? Kids’ World staff sure do! Our first Bumps & Babies Resource Fair is coming up next month, Saturday, April 9, 10 a.m. to noon. A wide variety of businesses will be sharing their resources and give expectant parents and growing families an opportunity to browse and ask questions. Save the date and be sure to reserve your entrance time when registration opens on April 1!

Passport to Culture

Friday, March 4, 4–5 p.m. / Hendrickson Room

Experience the cultures and languages of the world without leaving town. You will receive your own “passport” and travel to four different stations with read-aloud stories and cultural crafts. Presentation by St. Viator High School students. Bilingual stories will be presented in Spanish/English and Chinese/English. Grades K–3.

Both beginner and experienced players are welcome and will learn under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach using lichess.org for online play. Age 6–grade 6.

Calling all beginning readers! Get your picture taken with a book you can read all by yourself. Your photo will be displayed in the I Can Read area. Sign up and bring a familiar book to read aloud to a librarian any time within the hour. Grades K–3.
