8Tips for a good 8 hours of sleep Go to your bed every night at the same time even on the weekends. Avoid alcohol and cigarettes (and any tobacco products) in the evening. Keep your bedroom clean and calm, select a comfortable mattress. Don't eat a full meal before your bedtime for 2 hours or sleep hungry either, you can eat a snack.

If you are using to take a nap keep it short up to 30 minutes to make you asleep hungry till night.
