Day 1: Arrival in Madrid, Madrid continue to Toledo Welcome lunch & brief introduction to the current capital of Spain, then continue on to Toledo. We will welcome the travelers to the night walking to the medina of Toledo concluding with our dinner in the medina. We will further continue on to our hotel nearby the 'Zagra' wall of the ancient city.

Day 2: Panoramic view of Toledo and then depart south to Cordoba Introduction to Spanish culture through the XVI literary figure of 'Don Quixote de La Mancha'. Arrival & Introduction to Andalusia & related places. Finally afternoon arrival arrival in Cordoba, the Umaya Capital of Al Al Andalus, Muslim Spain.

This morning we shall take a panoramic drive around the city of Toledo, stopping to view the beautiful ancient town from the heights of the opposite hill. It is surrounded by the River Tajo ('Tash' arabic for 'Crown').

After this we will depart towards south along the 'Route of Don Quixote', through Castilla La Mancha, to Andalusia, where we will reach to Córdoba by mid afternoon.

The route to Cordoba is 350km but we will break it down with stops at every 140 km for site viewing, meals and prayers at actual mosques lined along the route.

We will also receive an introductory summary of the history of Iberia, its origins, population and religious diversity, diversity & division in the Christian Spain before Islam, the origin of Islam and Al Andalus until the arrival of AbdulRahmãn I, the Ummayad Emir founder of Córdoba and his proclamation of it as the Capital of Al Andalus (300 750E.C).

We will also be learning briefly about Don Quixote along our way through La Mancha.

Don Quixote was the famous literary figure who had a store of historical knowledge & wisdom, and many Islamic principles which were hidden in the XVII Century Spain under the 'Ïnquisition'.

We will stop before reaching Cordoba at a roadside stop oriented to Muslim travelers, offering a generous & varied 3 course buffet meal, as well as prayer & resting facilities.

Upon arrival in Cordoba shortly after lunch time, we will visit a small museum situated within the access tower 'Dar al Hourat' the Tower of Liberty, where we will find the 'Live Museum of al Andalus' gaining an introduction to the old medina, before we walk through it with our official tour guide of the medina alQadima (Ancient town) of Cordoba & the Ummayyad Mosque therein (748 1236).

After the visits and a short time for leisure & shopping, we will gather the group again for our welcome dinner at Andalusi Courtyard home in the medina of Cรณrdoba.

Day 3: Cordoba, Capital of the Umayas, Medinat al Zahra Morning excursion and tour in Medinat Al Zahra, the Caliph's court city palace's archeological site & research & exhibition

center. This includes an animated cinematographic recreation of the city and its daily life during the reigning period of the Caliph of al Andalus and his 128 Walis & Government. We continue down the Guadalquivir River, making our way to Almodovar del Rio where we may enjoy the views to its ancient Muslim castle, from a nearby private villa garden. Here we will be introduced to some local traditional Spanish food, catered for us by local Muslims with halal ingredients. After tea and a little relaxation in this lovely environment, we shall return to Cordoba city again and free time is given for any extra activities, rest, or shopping! There are also three active mosques in Cordoba today worth visiting for Muslims. This will give our travelers a marvelous opportunity to meet some local Muslims while touring around town.

We then move on further toward Seville (150 km). Upon arrival in Seville, we introduce the city by bus tour and check in at the arranged hotel. Free evening is allocated for walks and rides in Seville's historical center and riverside.

Day 4: Excursion to Seville & overnight stay in the capital of Andalusia Today

This day we plan for an excursion from Cordoba to Seville, some prefer to stay over at Seville while other groups choose to return to Córdoba the same day, in this case we plan to stay overnight at Seville.

Arriving to Seville before midday, we will receive guided visits in Seville's historical center include the Alkasr Royal Palaces & Gardens, Cathedral of Seville, modern Giralda, Torre del Oro, Jewish quarters, the old medina and city walls, Parque de Maria Luisa, Plaza de España, and the remains of the Almohad courtyard and minaret.

After the visits & time for lunch we will check into our hotel in Sevilla, enjoying a short time for rest, leisure & shopping before we gather again for our group dinner in Seville.

Granada,, stopping at Ronda before a Day 5: Mountain route into the former Kingdom of Granada welcome dinner event in Granada.

We are now ready to move slowly into the former Kingdoms of Garn'atta, towards the final 15th Century Muslim capital, Granada (260 km). On the way along the mountain lands of the former Muslim Kingdom, we will stop to visit the city of Ronda where we will again learn about the different historical periods of the Iberian Peninsula, specifically in regards to Muslim Spain. Ronda is one of the places where Tariq and Musa passed through in 711 712, an enclave containing history from pre history to present day Spain, with over 800 years of Islamic heritage to discover. Our walks in Ronda take us through the streets and alleyways of the old medina with various stops, expositions, through secret tunnels and the Hammam of Ronda. After a relaxed stop at Ronda, we shall continue the rest of the way to Granada.

Day 6: Granada, the last Muslim Kingdom of Al Al Andalus. Tour of the Alhambra court city, palaces and gardens

Guided visit to the Alhambra palatial town, including the Nashrid Palaces, Alkasaba fortress, Generalife summer palace & gardens, and the old medina of the Alhambra.

Afterwards, we move on to visit the old medina of Garnatta and its main areas, divisions and city walls. We will revisit the Albayzin Mosque at the Mirador de San Nicolas, most famous viewing point of Granada and the Alhambra. After a lunch break, we walk down to the town center; visit the "souq" streets, and the area's most viewed historical points.

Our first stop within the Andalusi medina of Granada is usually at San Nicolas square, where we shall find the Mosque to pray. From San Nicolas we walk down through the historical quarters & different stages of expansion of the former Muslim medina, which will take us through to the modern town which is a fusion of souq markets, old alleyways, riverside & the active city appeals. Madrid rid Day 7: Free Morning in Granada, Midday departure to Mad On our last morning in Granada, we allow last minute shopping, packing, extra activity bookings or some extra morning rest.. Intending to have a buffet lunch & small mosque for prayer facilities on our way, departure is scheduled from Granada at 12pm by, bus to Madrid.

Day 8: Madrid, current capital of Spain.

On our way through of the capital of Spain, Madrid, this time we will have a panoramic view of the city, including views of the Royal Palace, souvenir stop at Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, coffee stop at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Once we have introduced you to the capital of Spain, travelers will be able to choose between making their own independent free program in Madrid, or join the group in visiting Las Rozas Outlet Factory and Village, or similar commercial malls around the capital.

Day 9: Fast AVE TRAIN TRAIN from Madrid to Barcelona Departure from Madrid to Barcelona by AVE fast train. Pick up at Barcelona and transfer to our arranged hotel there for check in and refreshment before a leisurely evening and first dinner at the 'most European' Spanish Mediterranean city.

Day 10: Touring in Barcelona Introduction and bus city tour of Barcelona. We will visit the main attractions: The Sagrada Familia, Gaudi Museum, parque güel, Olympics stadium and Gothic area.

Visit and Tour the Nou Camp, Barcelona FC Stadium.

Free evening will be allocated for shopping or evening activities in Barcelona, before departure the next day.

Day 11: Departure day Transfer to Barcelona´s Airport for departure.
