Project Concept and Studies
Location
The project is located in the south of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Asir region, specifically in the city of Abha, opposite the Asir Region Emirate building and the Asir Region Heritage Authority The site is also distinguished by its location in the center of Abha city, and it is part of the Abha city development project, and is surrounded by many cultural, tourist and other buildings
Concept
The design idea of the project depends on two main point :
code inAsir
Using green roofs to provide aesthetic value to building roofs in addition to environmental benefits
The slopes of the edges of buildings in Asir architecture and their use in the project in a modern way
The long windows in the old Asir houses were used in the project in a modern way
Adding stairs and different levels in the project, such as villages and the nature of the land inAsir
Covering the facades with Asir region materials, including the modern block and carving on it triangles that reflectAsir architecture
3D Perspective
1- The project will be a landmark for the development of the Abha Valley and will also be the welcoming and fundamental source of the new valley
2- using one of the architectural concept : contract
It is an integration of design between the past and heritage into the present and future
