Bentley Team Notes

• The Falcons escaped the weekend with three points after a win and a tie against Army. Bentley upset the, then conference leading, Black Knights at Atlantic Hockey’s Frozen Fenway matchup. • The win marks the second time the Falcons have won in the historic ballpark. In their Fenway debut dating back to the 2014 season, Bentley beat Holy Cross 3-2. • In game two of the series Bentley showed some true heart after battling back from three goals in the third to force a 5-5 tie with Army. The Falcons scored three unanswered goals over the final 11:43 of the third period. • Rookie defenseman, Brett Orr played tremendous over the weekend, leading the Falcons in scoring with four points in the two games. Orr tallied three assists and one goal, which came in the 3-1 win, over the weekend. Orr was named Atlantic Hockey Defenseman of the Week. • Bentley seems to be hitting their stride early in the new year after taking three points from the former first place Black Knights. Bentley will return to action this weekend against Niagara.
