Durga – The Adi Shakti! Navratri is a Hindu festival held in the honor of the divine faminine – Maa Durga, wherein all the nine avatars of Maa Durga are worshipped for wealth and prosperity. Navratri is celebrated 4 times in a year. While the two Navratri are called Gupt Navratri, the remaining two are the major Navratri festivals. The Navratri that occurs in April also embarks the beginning of the Hindu Nav Varsh or New year, according to the Hindu calendar.
