ROSALIND PANDA
530 West 25th Street, New York, NY
When traveling and witnessing the beauties of nature, Indian artist Rosalind Panda’s frame of mind is content and optimistic. As a source of inspiration, these affections are frequently translated on canvas by her use of color palette, setting, and imagery. Under her control, Panda’s main medium of oil permits these expressions. With varying textures of eye-catching rigidity and alluring smoothness, Panda has created a style that is easily identifiable and her own.
Outside of her artistic endeavors, Panda works as an IT Expert, and is the owner of Rosalind IT Services and Rosalind Constructions. She has an extensive education background with a Bachelor’s in Computer Application from Utkal University (Odisha, India); a postgraduate degree in Computer Application from Odisha Computer Academy (Odisha, India); and has an Associates degree in Computer Science from Foothill College (Los Altos Hills, CA). Panda is an active member of River Artworks in Pittsburgh, PA and her work has been recognized by the Rotary club. Uniquely, she does not believe in setting artistic goals or being compared to other artists. “Everybody is unique in the way they create art and I like to be identified with my individuality and uniqueness,” she says. “[A] goal is a destination we define to stop somewhere. Rather, I continue my journey of creating amazing artworks and working towards my vision.”
ROSALIND PANDA ON
I draw inspiration for my art by going deep within. Before approaching the canvas, I fill my soul with happiness–by traveling, being in nature, or spending time with my family–so that I am able to express nothing but optimistic feelings. My paintings are realistic or abstract representations of the places I have seen around the world and my personal emotional journeys. I believe that there is beauty everywhere we look and that every difficult situation in life has hidden blessings. We, as humans, have the power to shift the energy with the determination of our mind. Through my art I seek to provide the viewer with greater understanding of life and creativity and offer a beacon of light amidst the clouds. For inquiries, sales@agora-gallery.com
