This week we got to make zines out of a short story called The Author of the Acacia Seeds by Ursula K. Le Guin. We were asked to edit the text, take photos to accompany the story (or use old ones, but we had to have taken them ourselves) and then make it into a zine. They were then printed on a Riso-printer. All the students interpreted the text in a different way, some editing it to be a collection of poems or a little translation booklet. I loved the story and decided not to change it too much, I just made minor changes and made took out certain passages to make it shorter.
I wrote more of an introduction in the actual zine. Hope you like it!
