Who would’ve thought that 30 years ago, God had already prepared myself with a gift of life, wrapped in a warm blanket, embraced in a mother’s arms.
I’m so thankful to God and to your beautiful mother for bringing you into the world, and to bumble (lol) for bringing you to me.
I am so thankful of your presence in this world

Jay, you are an exceptional human being. You’re a kind and gentle soul, whose warmth and sincerity make me whole, your smile is infectious and your eyes so bright, that when you enter a room, everything feels right. - a compassionate heart with a presence so calming and sweet, you make me feel complete.

We all know you eat a lot and you like good food (LOL), but the fact that you enjoyed, liked, and appreciated my lack of cooking skill and my pasta, that’s when I knew that I could always be vulnerable in front of you. And your affection for basketball, that makes me sure that life with you will always be as passionate as the first time we met.
I know you don’t want to talk about your music, but I have to tell you that you are extremely talented whether you like it or not. You were born with a gift, well actually gifts (plural!) it’s so unfair. You are also hella genius, I mean man and science??? I’d worship the ground you’d walk on. Your presence, makes me feel at ease. Just like a gentle breeze that cools and frees (that rhymes!)

Writing this is a conscious effort to remind myself that this year, so far, has been filled with joy—so, so, so much joy.
I never dared to think that the imaginary person I created in my head existed, and yet here you are. This might sounds cheesy if not cringey but fuck it, I am a writer after all
For me, falling is easy when you’re a fierce problem solver— from daily mineal things to bigger, more consequential decisions. Falling is easy when you bring focus to my chaos, clarity to my anxiety, and calm to my worries.

In Brief Answers to the Big Questions, Hawking talked about how the positive energy yielded out of The Big Bang is inseparable from the negative energy dispersed throughout the universe. The former could not have existed without the latter.
I’d like to think that your existence is the culmination of every bit of misery I’ve ever had to go through before this point, because how else could I deserve this overflowing sense of contentment?

normally instructs me to. With you, it feels like the universe has set its course, and the only thing left to do is let ourselves walk down its path. Nothing feels forced—I just am, you simply are, and we just be.
