DENMARK AFS Academy: Culture - January (FLEX) Spend one month at a Danish “EFTERSKOLE” exploring cultural differences, learning Danish, enjoying in-depth leisure activities, and experience daily life at a Danish International Efterskole. Be a part of an exciting excursion to Prague.* *subject to change

Program Description: Throughout the program, the participants will live, eat and study at the Ranum Efterskole. The participants will study intercultural learning/global competencies together with the Danish and international students.

Program Highlights: Experiencing Ranum Efterskole College Developing intercultural understanding Exciting outdoor/ team building activities.

Living and studying alongside the Danish and international students at the school.

DENMARK AFS Academy: Culture (March FLEX 2025) Spend one month at a Danish “EFTERSKOLE” exploring cultural differences, learning Danish and English and participating in interesting activities and cultural excursions.* *subject to change

Program Description: Throughout the program, the participants will live, eat and study at the Ranum Efterskole. The participants will study intercultural learning/global competencies together with the Danish and international students.

They will also take part in intensive language classes in either English or Danish for 4 hours per week.

NEW ZEALAND Kiwi Culture experience (April - May 2025) Immersive intercultural experience in Aotearoa New Zealand Program Description: Upon arrival, there will an orientation, that will set the objectives and expectations for the trip and provide an opportunity to know the fellow participants.

HUNGARY Home stay and Hungary trip Unique cultural visit in Budapest with trips to the countryside, home stay and some school life. Experience both Budapest and the countryside, discovering key sights and forming a strong group bond.

Program Description: Accommodation will be in a Budapest hotel, with day trips to popular locations. The two-week homestay allows students to immerse themselves in Hungarian family life and education, offering a deeper cultural experience. The program includes orientations at the start and end of the stay.

Program Dates:

Studying Spanish in Argentina permits a broader knowledge of a language in constant growth, key in the current global context. Through an experience of integration and personal growth, they will discover and be part of a different culture, with strong Latin American roots. The Spanish classes take place in an institute, and are highly conversational and applicable. But more than these classes, the program is about being surrounded by locals and developing relationships with native speakers.

NEW ZEALAND Traditional Intensive Program (July to Aug 2025) Set out on an intercultural learning journey to the Land of the Long White Cloud, Aotearoa, the Maori name of New Zealand Program Description: This traditional high school exchange programme places participants with AFS volunteer host families throughout Te Ika a Maui (The North Island) and Te Waipounamu (The South Island). Here participants will discover the essence of being ‘Kiwi’ as they build life-long, and lifechanging, relationships with their new whanau (family).

The people of Aotearoa embrace all that its mountains, rivers, lakes and coastlines have to offer, so expect to take on some outdoor challenges when they are not at school!

TURKEY Intensive School Program in Turkey (Dec 2025 to February 2026) 4 weeks of school and 2 weeks of semester break in the Southern city of Adana Program Description: Adana is one of the cities with the warmest climate in Turkey.
