“La Pierre Habitable”

The idea is to create different microcosms as sets of sensations contained throughout the project. These microcosms are articulated through the development of an architectural promenade, fragmenting the experiences marked by various stages; a threshold (A), heart (B) and the finishing touches (C). These experiences allude to the ascending movement of the mountaineers, maintaining the idea of climbing to the top in order to reach satisfaction. The building envelope refers to the natural rocky geometry of Aconcagua. This great “pierre habitable” (habitable stone) becomes a refuge from external hostility, thus establishing a microcosm where luxury is expressed as interior comfort.
