Hayden, CEO of Baltimore’s Enoch Pratt Free Library, was nominated by President Barack Obama to be the 14th Librarian of Congress on Feb. 24. Carla D. Hayden was appointed as the CEO of the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, Maryland in 1993. Hayden was previously nominated by President Obama to be a member of the National Museum and Library Services Board in January
