Eight Montgomery County, Md. business owners were saluted April 26 for their enterprise and resourcefulness by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority’s Potomac Valley Alumnae Chapter. In a ceremony at the VisArts Center in Rockville, they were presented Minerva Entrepeneurship Awards. Marcus Johnson won the Business Growth Award, Sol Graham was presented with the Technology Innovator Award, Tina Mitchell received the Women-Owned Business Award, Gregory Plummer was presented the Small Business Award; Sheila Shears, Sisterhood Business Award; Barbara Talley won the Micro Business Award and David Hillman and Suzanne Hillman, won the Empowerment Award.
