he Morgan Gala XXIX, held at Martin’s West in Woodlawn, was the elaborate scene where hundreds of stylishly attired alumni, friends, and supporters greeted each other and reminisced about the days gone by at Morgan. Following the welcome by MC Stan Stovall, co-anchor, WBAL TV, Dr. David Wilson, president of Morgan State University, greeted the alumni and recognized the supporters for their major contributions to the university. The singing of the alma mater sealed the cohesive spirit along with the mingling, camaraderie and dancing to familiar tunes throughout the evening.
