ELECTION DAY
Meet Logan Logan Phillips has joined the Affton Chamber of Commerce as an intern to assist with the Chamber’s social media presence as well as other things involving the chamber members. Logan is a senior at Affton High School and is in the STLCAPS program, a professional studies course allowing students to gain real world experience. Logan plays ice hockey, roller hockey, and floor hockey and works at Rockin’ Jump in Shrewsbury.
After recommendations from the Bayless Facilities Community Advisory Committee and the Bayless School District Administration, the Bayless Board of Education unanimously voted to place two tax issues on the April 3, 2018, election ballot. The Board placed Propositions A & S on the ballot because it has determined the District needs additional funds to provide the classrooms, programs, services and staffing necessary to remain a top performing school district.
