When students leave Deira International School, they go on to study at some of the most prestigious universities in the world. We also offer an extensive curriculum program beyond the classroom with visits, trips, competitions, clubs and co- curricula activities providing enrichment for all our

students. For our older students, we offer access to a unique experiential learning program (summer internships) through our links to the Al-Futtaim. This provides students with real life business experience in the automotive industry, financial services, real estate and retail sector, covering functions such as marketing, HR and legal. Our approach motivates and equips students to further their education beyond Deira International School and most importantly, to view education as a lifelong process. A truly international school, we have earned the reputation for providing an exceptional education to a diverse student body representing over 80 different nationalities. Deira International School, is a Cambridge International Examinations Centre, an IB World School and owned and operated, as a not-for-profit school, by the Al Futtaim Education Foundation.

The school has now been recognized as one of the highest achieving schools in the UAE, which is a particular achievement when considering our fully inclusive admissions. Since the last inspection, the school has worked tirelessly to raise standards across all parts of the school and to develop a holistic culture in which all of our community are able to thrive. I am particularly pleased that the work on wellbeing has been recognized in the report, as we strongly believe that this is the foundation of everyone’s success.
