Taking place across the city of York, ASFF will screen in a number of iconic locations, all within walking distance of one another, combining the historical with the contemporary. VISIT YORK (ASFF FESTIVAL HUB) Visit York is York’s official tourist information centre and ASFF Hub where lanyards and tickets will be available. Our staff will be there throughout to help with any queries you have about the festival. Fully accessible.

YORK THEATRE ROYAL SEATS: 800

DE GREY ROOMS SEATS: 150

A theatre since 1744, built on the ruins of St. Leonard’s Hospital, it is a perfect blend of architectural styles from the past three centuries. Partial access.

Originally used as an officers' mess, the De Grey Rooms feature a sweeping neo-classical ballroom in a Grade II listed building. Fully accessible.

CITY SCREEN SEATS: 207 / 132 / 70

YORK ST JOHN UNIVERSITY SEATS: 248 / 180 / 140

Overlooking the River Ouse, City Screen is the heart of independent film in York and the venue for our Opening Night. The cinema is fully accessible.

This prestigious civic university with an award winning campus in York city centre has roots going back to the 1840s. Fully accessible.

BOOTHAM SCHOOL SEATS: 100

FRIARGATE THEATRE SEATS: 90

The Bootham School Arts Centre, shortlisted for 2014 design award, is York’s stunning new arts venue with state-of-the art facilities. Fully accessible.
