Adam Recht (Merovingian Productions) UK, 2014, 04:27 Brit.I.Am is a crowd-sourced film about the things in British culture which we love, the things we hate, the things we wish we would change and the things we hoped would always stay the same.

Aesthetica has attracted some amazing speakers and an amazing programme of films and has a really diverse and interesting audience.

Welcome to the 10th anniversary edition of the Aesthetica Short Film Festival. This year’s festival will take place 3-30 November. We will be screening 300 films in competition, as well as a number of guest programmes covering major issues through new perspectives, alongside 100 industry events. We are welcoming renowned filmmaking talent from a huge range of practices, who will offer insights into acclaimed production, exploring their motivations and expertise. This year’s industry programme includes over 50 masterclasses, filmmaker spotlights and panel discussions as part of our most exciting edition to date. We will also be organising a national film tour in partnership with PictureHouses UK, so some of the films will be on the big screen.
