Respected parents joined their children at SLC to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi and commemorate the birth anniversary of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). The event was prepared with a religious fervor as students presented handmade posters and models of the “Khana Ka’aba” and othersacredplaces.Thechildrentookto the stage to recite Durood, share the hadith of the Prophet (S.A.W), and recite Naat’s that touched the hearts of all those present. A question/answer session was also arranged for the parents to take part in which added to the excitement. A student versus teachers cricket match was organized on November 30 To liken the electrifying atmosphere similar to an India-Pakistan would not be an understatement SICAS faculty emerged victorious courtesy of a spirited performance The faculty win came as no surprise with the team remaining unbeaten over the last four years Sir Rehan and Sir Khalid from team teachers left those present stunned with enviable catches Sir Zubair, unfortunately, sustained injuries due to circumstances beyond anybody’s control How the students cheered for Sir Asim when he entered the field was reflective of his popularity among the student body Delivering a merciless performance, the teachers emerged victorious over opponents who too did as best as they could
The A-level students at SLC, without a doubt, had been working effortlessly for the past term. In celebration of the passing of the first term with tons of success, growth, and accomplishments, our A-level batch was taken on a trip to Mangla Dam on the 24th of December. As they say it is not the destination but the journey that matters; likewise, the drive to the dam consisted of music blasting off of speakers, singing competitions, card games, and having KFC. Arriving at the tourist spot, the students indulged in a variety of activities, including jet skiing and boat rides. Suffice it to say, with the creation of new memories, it was a fun and exhilarating way to end the term.

A workshop led by Pakistan Air Quality Initiative founder Abid Omar was conducted at the campus. Spending 24 hours in Lahore was akin to smoking 20 cigarettes, those present learned. The gravity of the problem and ways of overcoming the challenge were discussed at length over what was essentially an interactive session. The event concluded after a short Q&A round with KN95 masks being handed out.

Two-day art and literature event Emerge 2022 concluded on November 26 with SICAS students shining. Prominent among these were Arham Rauf (Apollo Instrumental), Taha Saqib and Abdur Rehman (Sous Chef), Ibrahim Shahzad, Muhammad Yaqoob, and Daniyal Ahmad (Oratio).

The team representing SICAS: Ibrahim Shahzad, Muhammad Yaqoob, Subhan Akbar Khan, and Qalb-e-Abbas bagged the top honour in a win that put an end to an eight-year drought for the school.
