Purushottam Laxman Deshpande, or PuLa, was a beloved figure in Maharashtra, known for his diverse talents. Born in Mumbai in 1919, his early years in Parle shaped his deep connection to the arts. PuLa’s journey spanned literature, performing arts, and music, influenced by luminaries like Bal Gandharva and Charlie Chaplin. He made lasting contribu tions to Marathi cinema and music, collaborating with re nowned vocalists.

Despite roles in radio and television, PuLa’s true passion was stage performances, where his spontaneity captivated audi ences. His legacy as “Maharashtra’s Most Beloved Personality” endures, honoring his unmatched cultural contributions.

Inspired by the seven swar, the foundational notes of Indian music, our design encapsulates the essence of musical expression. Through a captivating arrangement of seven stone walls, we symbolize the cyclical nature of the swar, with each wall rising in height to represent the ascending pitch. Our aim is to create a space where music thrives, from cutting-edge rehearsal studios to mesmerizing performance halls. The carefully chosen materials, such as the timeless stone walls, embody the strength and stability of mu sic, while intricate patterns pay homage to the rich heritage of Indian music. Join us on a journey of musical discovery where tradition and innovation unite, creating an immersive experi ence that celebrates the ever-evolving art form of music.

VERNACULAR DESIGN

In the heart of Kolkhe Panvel, a symphony of flavors beck ons. Behold our creation—a small-scale industrial haven infused with the magic of vernacular architecture. Crafted from nature’s embrace, we celebrate the fusion of tradition and ingenuity, using earth’s treasures as our palette.

Amidst panoramic landscapes, our design breathes life into spaces where pickle alchemy and papad mastery take flight. Sunlit windows and whispering winds converge, ensuring ar tisans dance amidst nature’s spotlight, fueled by inspiration. Within these hallowed walls, a vibrant community thrives. Shared spaces become the tapestry of cultural exchange, a sanctuary where stories intermingle, wisdom transcends, and the essence of tradition blossoms anew.

M.C. Escher, renowned for his intricate and mind-bending works, created several pieces featuring birds. His bird-themed artworks are notable for their meticulous attention to detail and incorporation of tessellation. Escher explored the transformation and integration of birds with in intricate geometric patterns, creating visually captivating compositions. Though there is no specific painting titled “Day and Night” attributed to Escher, his bird-related works often showcased his fascination with the interplay between nature, mathematics, and artistic imagination. Escher’s ability to merge the organic beauty of birds with the precision of mathematical concepts is a testa ment to his unique artistic vision and continues to captivate admirers of his work to this day.
