THE ASSOCIATION OF WIND ENERGY DEVELOPERS OF CASTILLE AND LEON (APECYL) IS AN OPEN ASSOCIATION WHICH MAIN OBJECTIVE IS TO PROMOTE THE EXECUTION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECTS
APECYL lleva trabajando en Castilla y León de forma continuada desde 1999 para fomentar la energía eólica y esto se traduce en la creciente importancia que está adquiriendo este tipo de energía renovable en la Comunidad. APECYL tiene como objetivos específicos promover la ejecución, desarrollo e implantación de proyectos para el aprovechamiento de la energía eólica, coordinar actividades frente a las administraciones y organismos oficiales, canalizar las diferentes iniciativas de los asociados, ser el vehículo de discusión y diálogo con la Administración, apoyar el desarrollo de la energía eólica en Castilla y León, promover las medidas oportunas para defender los intereses de sus asociados y divulgar y difundir de forma colectiva el desarrollo de las distintas actividades llevadas a cabo. APECYL, tal y como se establece en sus estatutos, se regula de acuerdo a principios democráticos y su representación y gobierno recaen sobre la Asamblea General y la Junta Directiva. Esta Asamblea General está formada por todos los promotores asociados. La Junta Directiva es el órgano de gobierno, encargado de impulsar los trabajos y el día a día en APECYL.
APECYL has been working in Castille and Leon continuously since 1999 to promote wind energy. This translates into the growing importance that this type of renewable energy is acquiring in the region. APECYL aims to promote the execution, development and implementation of projects for the use of wind energy, coordinate activities with the administrations and official organisms, channel the different initiatives of its associates, be the vehicle for discussion and dialogue with the Administration, support the development of wind energy in Castille and Leon, promote appropriate measures to defend the interests of its members and disseminate the development of the activities carried out. APECYL, as established in its statutes, is regulated in accordance with democratic principles and its representation and government are vested in the General Assembly and the Board of Directors. This General Assembly is made up of all the associated developers. The Board of Directors is the governing body, responsible for promoting the work and day to day in APECYL.
