Pedestals are adjustable floor height supports for raised flooring rigid systems. This pedestal is designed to support removable floor panels. The number of cables and other services determines the height of the pedestal.
There is a minimum height requirement of 200 millimeters and a standard height requirement of 300 millimeters. The control room and electrical room require pedestals that are 600mm tall.

Steel panels with a cementitious core are used for the construction of the panels. In general, the panel measures 600mm by 600mm and is 32mm thick. An HPL or vinyl covering would be applied to its top surface. The panel frame has been coated with epoxy, and the base has a perimeter shape.

The panel looks like a false floor panel made of wood. It is usually 600x600 and 38 mm thick. It consists of calcium sulfate with a top surface of HPL or vinyl and a bottom surface of GI sheeting. Its excellent load capacity, antistatic properties, and electrical resistance make it an ideal false floor type. It is, however, more expensive than the other false floor variations.
