Tonight, through the power of song, these students will carry you from the depths of the earth (mining songs, river songs, lullabies), to the great heights of the skies (flying songs, heaven songs, dances). During the journey, we hope you hear the moments of beauty and mystery that great music can bring. Maybe you’ll sense the beautiful reds and purples of a splendid sunset - or witness the great mystery of a glorious rainbow - or, in the distance, catch a glimpse of the horizon . . . all without leaving this beautiful space. This is the power of great music.

This is the power of great art.

And remember, without art, Earth is just “Eh.” (Think about it . . . ) Thank you for being here tonight and supporting the musical endeavors of these students!
