PrimeMinisterNarendraModilaunchedthePMKISANprogramon24 February2019inGorakhpur,UttarPradesh Underthescheme,allsmall andmediumscalefarmerswillbegivenasubsidyofRs6,000per annuminthreeinstallmentswhichwillbedepositeddirectlyintotheir bankaccounts Thetotalannualcostofthisprogramisexpectedtobe Rs75,000croretobefundedbytheUnionGovernment
