STRENGTHEN & REFINE PROGRAM SUPPORT Further strengthen the metaphysical foundation of each program •

Follow Mind’s direction with an ongoing focus on “Opening Windows to God” Thus Truth engrounds me on the rock, | Upon Life's shore | 'Gainst which the winds and waves can shock, | Oh, nevermore! – Hymn 253

Identify clear outcomes and regularly evaluate program effectiveness •

Understand that expressing God is our only true work Christian Science demands order and truth. To abide by these we must first understand the Principle and object of our work, and be clear that it is Love, peace, and good will toward men. – Mis 215:12-15 How can we do this Christianly scientific work? By intrenching ourselves in the knowledge that our true temple is no human fabrication, but the superstructure of Truth, reared on the foundation of Love, and pinnacled in Life. – Pul 2:27-1

Provide clear and effective marketing about the breadth of opportunities •

Recognize communication is from God to man Love alone can impart the limitless idea of infinite Mind. – SH 510:18-19 Christ is the true idea voicing good, the divine message from God to men speaking to the human consciousness. – SH 332:9(Christ)-11 Take my voice, and let me sing | Always, only, for my King. | Take my lips, and let them be | Filled with messages from Thee. – Hymn 324

Focus on supporting those transitioning into adulthood •

Know that “each successive stage of experience unfolds new views of divine goodness and love” (Mary Baker Eddy) In Thy house securely dwelling, | Where Thy children live to bless, | Seeing only Thy creation, | We can share Thy happiness, | Share Thy joy and spend it freely. | Loyal hearts can feel no fear; | We Thy children know Thee, Father, Love and Life forever near.

APPRECIATE & VALUE CONSTITUENTS Ensure all feel loved and needed – those served and those serving •

Cherish each individual as an integral part of the whole And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. – Mark 12:33 We should measure our love for God by our love for man; and our sense of Science will be measured by our obedience to God, — fulfilling the law of Love, doing good to all; imparting, so far as we reflect them, Truth, Life, and Love to all within the radius of our atmosphere of thought. – Mis 12:28

Focus on customer satisfaction (including personal outreach and connections with constituents) •

Invest every thought, word and deed with spiritual loveliness of grace (Doris Dufour Henty)

The human affections need to be changed from self to benevolence and love for God and man; changed to having but one God and loving Him supremely, and helping our brother man. – Mis 50:27-30 Develop a robust volunteer support program •

Provide servant leadership opportunities that bless both volunteers and the organization Beloved children, the world has need of you, - and more as children than as men and women: it needs your innocence, unselfishness, faithful affection, uncontaminated lives.

Cherish our mission and pursue excellence Help us to build each other up, | Our little stock improve; | Increase our faith, confirm our hope, | And perfect us in love. – Hymn 105 …the spiritual and divine Principle of man dawns upon human thought, and leads it to ‘where the young child was,’ - even to the birth of a new-old idea, to the spiritual sense of being and of what Life includes. – SH 191:9-13

OPERATE EFFECTIVELY Develop and implement system efficiencies (inclusive of advance planning, shedding nonessential work, follow-through, strong communication) •

Acknowledge that Mind governs, guides, and guards through right motives Spirit, God, gathers unformed thoughts into their proper channels, and unfolds these thoughts, even as He opens the petals of a holy purpose in order that the purpose may appear. – SH 506:18 If honest, he will be in earnest from the start, and gain a little each day in the right direction, till at last he finishes his course with joy. – SH 21:12

Articulate core values and clear organizational branding •

Invest in training and effectively utilize resources, including technology •

Build upon God-given talents to be good and faithful servants God is not separate from the wisdom He bestows. The talents He gives we must improve.

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. – I Cor 12:4-6 Focus on facilities renewal and renovation •

Preserve what God has bestowed and make radiant room The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. – Ps 16:5,6 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. – 1 Cor 3:9,10 Every house has a builder, but the Builder behind them all is God. – Heb 3:4 MSG

PRACTICE FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY Meet Annual Fund and Campaign goals •

Balance budget through consistent control of expenses •

Express Principle through wisdom and economy in daily actions and decisions God requires wisdom, economy, and brotherly love to characterize all the proceedings of the members of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist. – Man 77:18 Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know mine integrity. – Job 31:6

Meet program enrollment goals for a balanced budget •

Embrace all in an atmosphere of love where each person knows and feels God God is universal; confined to no spot, defined by no dogma, appropriated by no sect. Not more to one than to all, is God demonstrable as divine Life, Truth, and Love; and His people are they that reflect Him — that reflect Love. Again, this infinite Principle, with its universal manifestation, is all that really is or can be; hence God is our Shepherd. He guards, guides, feeds, and folds the sheep of His pasture; and their ears are attuned to His call. In the words of the loving disciple, ‘My sheep hear my voice, . . . and they follow me;’ – Mis 150:25-3

Broaden the donor base •

Recognize everyone’s opportunity to experience the joy of unselfed giving May our God make this church the fold of flocks, and may those that plant the vineyard eat the fruit thereof. – My 186:18-20 Beholding the infinite tasks of truth, we pause, — wait on God. Then we push onward, until boundless thought walks enraptured, and conception unconfined is winged to reach the divine glory. – SH 323:9

BROADEN THE PLACE OF THY TENT Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; – Isa 54:2 God expresses in man the infinite idea forever developing itself, broadening and rising higher and higher from a boundless basis. Mind manifests all that exists in the infinitude of Truth.

We know no more of man as the true divine image and likeness, than we know of God. – SH 258:13

Faith should enlarge its borders and strengthen its base by resting upon Spirit instead of matter. – SH 430:6-7 Only a firm foundation in Truth can give a fearless wing and a sure reward.” – ’01 2:25 Pilgrim on earth, thy home is heaven; stranger, thou art the guest of God. – SH 254:31

Purpose: To provide inspiring recreational, leadership, service, educational, and social activities for Christian Scientists and their friends, which nurture healing and a sense of community, in an atmosphere conducive to practical reliance on Christian Science.
