Welcome Home!
Camp at the A/U Ranches is about living life free of doubt and fear, in a nurturing atmosphere. The practical application of Christian Science permeates the camp experience in every program and teaches all ages how to overcome challenges to find success. No matter what program you choose – youth, family or adult – you’ll feel loved and valued and have the dedicated support of spiritually-minded staff and volunteers, making the A/U Ranches a truly healing atmosphere!
Financial Aid
Finances should never stand in the way of right opportunities and spiritual growth. We believe a camp experience should be affordable to all, including multiple sessions. We work closely with The Campership Fund to ensure that camp is affordable for everyone.

The A/U Ranches is your home away from home! Located in the inspiring Colorado Rocky Mountains at the foot of the iconic Collegiate Peaks, the A/U Ranches gives you the opportunity to make friends with spiritual seekers in an atmosphere of unconditional love. Children of all abilities can explore the splendor of the outdoors and nature’s vast playground.
Everything we do at the A/U Ranches is about putting Christian Science into action. Our programs are designed to gently encourage each camper to expand their comfort zone while learning how to deepen their relationship with God.
We hire spiritually-minded directors and counselors who stand out among their peers. They model character, respect and integrity. Under the watchful supervision of trained instructors and certified guides and lifeguards, children and teens immerse themselves in creating lifelong memories and friendships.
Youth Program Majors
Each child and teen enjoys “free choice” time where they pursue interests such as swimming, horseback riding, fishing, ropes course, rock gym, arts and crafts, canoeing, kayaking, riflery, archery, games, mountain biking and more. In addition to this, every camper selects a program major to focus on and develop in. What do you want to try – mountain, horse or maybe water?
Mountain
E xplore Colorado’s Collegiate Peaks as a beginning or advanced mountaineer. Campers of all ages go backpacking, conquer the ropes courses and rock climb – indoors and outside. Each major includes a 3-day overnight trip and culminates with a Mountain Madness relay race at Sky Valley.
Horse
Learn to ride and work with a horse in a variety of situations through daily lessons, activities and exciting competitions suited to all ages and abilities. Each session includes a 3-day overnight trip and culminates with the A/U Ranches’ gymkhana to showcase the skills learned.
Water
D evelop confidence and skills while swimming and canoeing (Sky Valley) or kayaking and whitewater rafting (Round-Up) on high alpine lakes, the Arkansas River and our heated pool. Each major includes a 3-day overnight trip and culminates with a Mountain Madness relay race at Sky Valley.

The A/U Ranches is the perfect destination, whether you’re a casual camper or outdoor adventurer. While the experiences and activities make our programs memorable, it’s strengthened relationships and drawing closer to God that make the greatest impact.
Service Programs
Join other generous adults and families to spruce up the A/U Ranches, build camaraderie and enjoy some time in the Rockies. Have fun while you help prepare camp over Memorial Day Weekend or get the property ready for the off-season in the fall. We couldn’t do it without you!
Family Camp
Create memories to last a lifetime. Adults and families can explore the many activities offered by the A/U Ranches during this allinclusive one week program with sessions in June, July and August. It’s the ideal place for a relaxing getaway, challenging adventure or family reunion.
Christmas Camp
Come home for the holidays and join us for a uniquely traditional Christmas. Whether you are celebrating with family of all faiths or uniting with friends, we’ll take care of everything – housing, food and festivities – allowing you the opportunity to cherish the Christ spirit of the holiday in a loving, inclusive atmosphere.
Adult Programs
Express the Child in You
Why should kids have all the fun at camp? The A/U Ranches provides camp programs for all ages, delivering the same great connections and excitement, and offering opportunities to challenge yourself spiritually and physically. Embrace the chance to learn in a supportive atmosphere based on spiritual growth.
Bible Study
All adults who love the Bible are welcome to a time of friendship and fellowship! The days are a mix of study, discussion, recreation and relaxation with friends. Join us for fun activities in the inspiring Rocky Mountains and participate in an in-depth exploration of a featured aspect from the Bible, plus memorable discussions with other spiritual thinkers.
Mini Camp
It’s truly camp for adults! Choose your own adventure each day – trail rides, swimming, hiking, peaking 14’ers, road and mountain biking, rock climbing, ropes course, fly fishing – or participate in a five-day riding clinic and take your horseback riding to the next level. Offered in August as full or half sessions.
Rest & Study
