Former College Prep Student
I began my college search not knowing pretty much anything - whether I wanted a big or small school, what location I wanted to go to school in, or even simply what schools I wanted to apply to The one thing I knew for sure was that wherever I went, I wanted to major in musical theater. And that’s exactly what the College Prep Program with ATMTC helped me do. With incoming class sizes of 20 or less students per a thousand applicants, it seemed like an impossible task. Nevertheless, I was given the training I needed in just a few months by ATMTC in order to make my college goals become a reality With their help, I was able to pick the right material that I felt the most connected to and the most confident about to nail my prescreens, callbacks, and overall auditions. This has truly been the most challenging process in my life, causing many moments of doubt and frustration, many moments where fear made me feel like giving up ATMTC not only ensured that I never did, but also made everything worth it. I am going to the school I’ve been striving for since the Fall, James Madison University, to study musical theater, and it’s all thanks to this amazing program!
