SHOWTime™ is a powerful free firmware update that unlocks the ability for all Mk3 pixel controllers to function as standalone devices that can play back scenes and playlists without the need for any source of live data.
Advatek’s powerful PixLite® Mk3 processor was designed with the processing capability to build on an ever-expanding set of features. With the launch of the revolutionary SHOWTime™ firmware update, all Mk3 devices can now operate as standalone smart controllers. SHOWTime™ was also designed to be future-proof, enabling easy integration with third-party systems for even greater compatibility.
SHOWTime™ is only compatible with Advatek PixLite Mk3 devices.

Record scenes and create playlists
Create frame-perfect recordings, design stunning playlists and save them directly onto a microSD card for untethered playback. SHOWTime™ also allows you to graphically monitor record and playback frame rates with the user interface.
Record incoming data as scenes, save playlists or use built-in scenes to blank or freeze all outputs. The user-friendly interface will allow you to create variations of recorded playlists that can be set to play automatically using pre-set triggers.
Create up to 25 powerful triggers
Each PixLite® device allows you to create up to 25 powerful triggers that can be configured using sACN, Art-Net or DMX512 sources. Each trigger can be configured to initiate an action when an event is detected.
Use an external sACN, Art-Net, or DMX512 channel to independently drive the live intensity of pixel outputs and the Aux port. When live intensity is in use, triggers can either override or prioritize live intensity, allowing for flexible and powerful intensity control.
A pixel controller takes incoming data from a source of lighting control – processes this data, and then disperses pixel data through its outputs. A pixel controller will handle these three operations in a single physical device for indoor use, and this is where our Standard range of controllers comes in.
Our Standard range of PixLite® controllers features high-capacity pixel control solutions and are most suited to applications where the distance from the controller to each pixel fixture is less than 15 metres (49’). They include options for pixel control right up to 96 universes of Art-Net or sACN data and 16,000+ pixels.

The layout of some projects means that sometimes the controller needs to be located quite a distance away from the pixels that it is powering (e.g., architectural facades and outdoor installations over large spaces), and this is where our LongRange pixel control systems are likely to be the best solution.
Our Long-Range family of solutions include options to drive 96 universes of data, at distances over 300 metres (1000’). As it uses standard network cables to do this – it is a very simple, cost effective and convenient way to control pixels over long distances.
