AWP Assurance Tips (1) qEWP, CWP and IWP definitions are consistent throughout the project life cycle. qThe approved EWP list is audited to ensure that complete EWPs are delivered on committed dates. qThe approved EWP release plan is properly reflected in the project schedule. qThe CWP List and release plans correspond to the approved EWP list and release plan. qThe CWP Execution Plan provides identification of CWP dependencies and allows enough lag time to build the CWPs with corresponding IWP packages.

AWP Assurance Tips (2) qThe Project wide Naming and Numbering convention are consistent with the WBS qThe CWPs and EWPs properly identify scope and boundary definition criteria and package grouping across silos. qThe approved format of the Table of Contents for EWP, CWP and IWPs has been identified. qThe Change Management Process is defined. qThe formal process of issuing and approval of EWPs, CWPs and IWPs as well as the utilization of document management systems is defined. qAn adequate lag is provided to give enough time for Construction to develop and release CWPs and IWPs to create a back log of work prior to mobilization.
