Poor internet connection: Device needs a restart:

The main reason for most connectivity problems is poor or weak internet connection. You have to make sure that your internet is working properly and also check the signal strength. You can contact our service team to get the instant solution.

If you ever feel that there is no signal or no internet problem then you must try to restart your camera and router. It will take a few minutes but you will get a solution. After restarting you have to connect your camera again to wifi.

You need to check your camera configuration in camera settings; make sure that it is connected to the right wifi; then check and update the camera firmware if needed: the camera should not be in private and offline mode.

Proper configuration Reset your camera

If nothing solves your problem then you have the last option of resetting your camera. For it, you have to press the restart button for a few seconds to complete the reset. Reset will land you back to factory settings.

HOWTOSETUPADTCAMERA:

Unpack the Camera Box: open the camera box and take out all the necessary things needed for camera setup; cameras, ethernet cable, power adapters.

ADT Pulse App: you have to download the ADT Pulse app from your play store and complete the sign in and login process.

Connect the cameras: connect the camera and power adapter with power source. When the camera is power charged, connect it to wifi. It will show a solid green light if it is connected.

Camera setting: Open the ADT app to adjust the camera settings like motion detection sensitivity, video quality, and night vision mode.

Camera monitoring: To view the live footage open the ADT app, where you will also receive motion detection alerts and recorded footage.

Repeat the process for settingg up the multiple cameras. Mount the cameras accurately using the mounting brackets. Make sure cameras are hanging on your desired location from where they can easily access the wifi connection.

Intelligent Alerts:

First of all select the type of intelligent alert you want from the ADT app. Turn on the “Intelligent Alert" and select the type you want, you can reduce the false alarm and can also identify important events.

Activity Zones:

Go to ADT app camera settings and select “activity zones” you can draw a shape to mark the activity monitor zone and set the sensitivity level.

Scheduled Recording:

For selecting this option also you need to open the ADT app’s camera settings and select “scheduled recording”. Here you can set the start and stop time for recordings.
