02.1 urban filling - elisabeta street
Along the Elizabeta Avenue there is a continuous row of historical buildings that was broken a couple of years ago when one of them collapsed, leaving the sequence incomplete. This project tends to that problem by restoring a visual continuity while taking into account the existing context. In doing that, the cornice was continued and linked to the existing neighbouring building while using on-site present materials and stylistically elements like the clear rhythm of the windows and the high slope roof with clerestories.
