Simple Guidelines To Perform Canon Pixma MG3620 How To Scan

Page 1

CANON PIXMA MG3620 HOW TO SCAN Canon Pixma MG3620 is a decent printer with a high-resolution flatbed scanner, which is great for scanning fragile photos and thick textbooks. As the flatbed scanner can't process multi-page documents automatically, you need to scan each page one by one manually. Apart from this, the printer is used for casual color printing too. Unfortunately, Canon MG3620 supports only two ink cartridges (PG-240 Black Fine cartridge and CL241 Color Fine cartridge) with low detailing. The Canon Pixma MG3620 printer is fully compatible with the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY application. So, you can perform the print, scan, and copy functions directly from this application itself. With all that said, let us discuss in detail about how to scan a document using the Canon Pixma MG3620 printer.

INITIAL PREPARATION TO PERFORM A SCAN: o

Turn on your computer and the Canon printer.

o

Canon MG3620 has mediocre wireless connectivity options. So, connect the printer to your computer via a USB cable.

o

Open the scanner lid, and you will be able to see the markings next to the glass bottom. These markings indicate how a document needs to be oriented on the scanner.

o

Place your document facing down the scanner glass. Once placed appropriately, close the scanner lid.

o

So, the initial setup is now over.

In the upcoming sections, we have listed out the steps you can follow to scan a document on your Windows or Mac computer.
