Mobile Loaves + Fishes | 3D - Printed Prototype Homes
- Finalized construction documents focusing on the adaptation and integration of 3D printing technical details for each of the three prototype home designs.
- Ensured a smooth transition from coordination to construction for a large project team with weekly construction site meetings and detailed notes.
- Managed architectural administration tasks and open construction items, including RFI’s, ASI’s, and submittals to maintain steady progress.
Poplar | Prototype CLT Home
- Designed a 3,050 SF single family residence with Cross-Laminated Timber construction to be used as a prototype for an innovative start up focusing on mass timber spec homes.
- Performed various pricing exercises in order to reach the clients ideal budget which included managing take-offs for the CLT panels as well as researching and synthesizing product and design data for both contractor and manufacturer coordination.
- Developed construction documents and coordinated details pertaining to mass timber construction as well as reviewed drawings with mechanical and structural engineers to ensure the client’s visions around crucial systems.
Fair Market | 1121 E7 Event Space
- Performed construction administration tasks such as reviewing submittal and shop drawings as well as providing ASI’s and weekly field reports to ensure a smooth construction process for the 10,800 SF renovation of a 920 capacity event space
- Led varied consultant coordination and communication with a focus on maintaining client’s design intent. Routinely collaborated on site with the construction and design team to assure accurate completion of work.
Fabrication | Design Build Work
- Designed and built an overlanding vehicle for the Land Arts program at Texas Tech as part of a class in collaboration with fellow students and the program director. The truck was used as the main storage for food, supplies, and as a kitchen in the following field season.
- Outside of the office I work on projects focusing on fabrication and hands-on design. Recently, in collaboration with a fellow designer, I brought a burlesque show to fruition at a local theater by working with the show's producer to design and build the set. Currently, I am working with a local Austin music artist to design and build their vision for a music video.
