Introduction • Level 2 automated systems or partially automated systems perform one or more than one form of driver assisting operations which include both steering and acceleration/braking action. Level 2 automation includes traffic jam assist and park assist systems applications.

Level 2 automation includes adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, and park assist feature, among others, and analyses the vehicle’s surrounding data through sensing components such as cameras, radars, ultrasonic sensors, and LiDARs.
