New and monthly programs, support, articles, and resources for people living with dementia and their care partners.

Try Something NEW - Adult Day Programs

One of the most significant advantages of an adult day program for people living with dementia is that they promote social interaction. Unfortunately, many caregivers don’t believe that the person they are caring for would ever go to a program and don’t attempt to try. Here’s the thing...you have to give it a try. If it doesn’t work this month, try next month and keep trying A few other benefits include enhanced physical and cognitive health, safety and security, nutritious meals, sense of independence, fun and enjoyment, and RESPITE FOR YOU!

Something else to consider - what is your approach, how are you talking about it, what are you saying. Your approach can make all the difference in the world.

We are fortunate to have these resources in Eau Claire County! Adult day programs can significantly enhance the quality of life for the person you are caring for Don’t delay, give them a call and/or go visit for yourself! Need financial assistance? Contact Lisa Wells to learn if you might be eligible for programs.
