TALK - APRIL 28TH - Exhibiting artist Neha Vedpathak will join Invisible Thread curator Aaron Levi Garvey in conversation to discuss her work, which seeks to broaden the dialogue and understanding of issues related to identity and spirituality . Vedpathak and Garvey will also discuss the major themes of the “Invisible Thread exhibition,” which brings together 12 contemporary artists whose work relates to spirituality, transcendence and the subconscious . This presentation is part of the exhibition “Invisible Thread . ”

HOLOCAUST MUSEUM TOUR - MAY 19TH -
The Holocaust Museum & Education Center’s mission is to teach the lessons of the Holocaust to inspire action against bigotry, hatred and violence . The Museum houses over 1,000 World War II and Holocaust artifacts and original photographs, many of which have been donated or permanently loaned by local Survivors, Liberators and other dedicated people . The 10-ton Holocaustera railway Boxcar was located after a fouryear international search by Museum Board Member Emeritus Jack Nortman .
ART AFTER HOURS” AT THE BAKER MUSEUM AND HAYES HALL GALLERIES
- MAY 25TH - Artis—Naples invites the community to enjoy Art After Hours at The Baker Museum on the last Wednesday of each month, from 6pm to 9pm . With live music performed by local musicians, concessions at the cafe and free admission to all museum exhibitions, Art After Hours is a fun evening of art and entertainment for audiences of all ages . This evening is part of the Artis—Naples Art After Hours series at The Baker Museum .


TOUR OF SHANGRI-LA SPRINGS’
ORGANIC GARDEN - JUNE 8TH - The history of Shangri-La Springs starts more than 100 years ago when Harvie Heitman constructed The Heitman Hotel with 25 rooms in 1921 . The natural mineral spring, still flowing on the property today, is the very spring for which the town was named - Bonita Springs . The one-hour tours are led by Cecelia Morales, organic garden manager, and include a sensory-based walking tour around the garden's subtropical, tropical, annual and perennial crops and orchard with information on "what makes a garden" including organic garden methods and permaculture principles .
