He went on to study both composition and piano performance at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. In 2018, he moved to the United States, where he attended the Cleveland Institute of Music, and will be attending Yale School of Music this Fall 2022. He has performed in throughout the world, and his compositions have been heard in Mariinsky Theatre, Carnegie Hall, Konzerthaus Dortmund, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, and other major venues. Arseniy is a laureate of many competitions, such as the Dorothy McKenzie Artist Award, Cleveland Piano Virtu(al)oso Competition, Singapore International Piano Competition, Three Arts Piano Competition, Cleveland Composers Guild Contest, “Another Space” Composition Competition, International Gavrilin Competition, International Competition “PerformerComposer,” and others. Arseniy has an exclusive publishing contract with Kompozitor, one of the biggest publishers in Eastern Europe. Arseniy has just competed in the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in Texas, one of the most prestigious and career-launching events in the classical world. We are proud and honored to welcome him as the first All Seasons Artist in Residence. About the residency and commission: Arseniy will be hosted at All Seasons Ann Arbor for six weeks before he starts his first year at Yale. During his stay, he will perform both formal and casual programs for residents at the four Michigan All Seasons communities, dine with us, socialize with us, and compose an original song inspired by residents’ stories and his experience learning from and living with residents.
