Golden Tones Glee Club Concert
December 12th - Join Dan Bergen each week to sing with your neighbors . Did you know there are several proven emotional and physical benefits of choral singing? Singing in community strengthens feelings of togetherness, regulates heart rate, reduces stress levels and depression, improves symptoms of Parkinson's and lung disease, improves feelings of social well-being, and can even increase life expectancy . And all vocal parts and comfort levels are welcome . Perfect Pair - Intergenerational connections are important for our health, wellness, and awareness and appreciation of the changing world . Stop by to learn more about Perfect Pair, a free program run through the University of Michigan that creates oneon-one connections between seniors and college students . Student volunteers and senior participants are paired based on similar hobbies and interests . Through shared laughs, conversation, and fun activities, members will have the opportunity to foster meaningful and long-lasting relationships with their Perfect Pair . Community Cards - Mahjong, Euchre, Bridge, Cannasta, and more! To join in the fun, see your Director of Life Enrichment to join the card playing groups . All skill levels are welcome .
Glory Days Line Dancing with Sharon Gregory
- Learn a new step, move your body to the beat, and have a laugh with friends! Classes will be offered the 3rd Sunday of each month .
Quizzo Trivia in the Bistro - Quizzo is a competitive trivia game that challenges you to think and stay on your toes . Did you know? We get a dopamine hit every time we experience the feeling of mastery – the feeling of knowing that we know something . And everyone has one area, one body of knowledge, about which they are – or think they are – an absolute expert! Join us in the Bistro for a professional, themed, curated trivia led by Quizzo!
Poetry & Short Story Readings with Amy
Winkler! Join fellow residents reading and sharing their poetry or short stories that they have written or one that has moved them during a particular moment . We have many talented residents; this activity will encourage expression and facilitate shared experiences .
Monthly Intergenerational Meetup
Get to know the young students from the local educational group Dream Scene, which provides structure and socialization in a faceto-face homeschool setting with certified teachers . Together we’ll craft, create, and share laughs as we bridge generational gaps .
