REGGIE SMITH

Reggie Smith and her husband Mike met in college in Pennsylvania and launched a life of adventure. Originally from New York and New Jersey, Reggie and Mike have been married 54 years. They have lived on both U.S. coasts, and spent a quarter of a decade living in Singapore, Thailand, vibrant Hong Kong, and the Philippines. While Mike worked with computers and in business management, Reggie was an elementary school educator and raised her two sons. Reggie and Mike embraced the nomadic lifestyle; in fact, moving into All Seasons Naples was their 22nd move. Reggie is a prolific record-keeper and is working on her autobiography of those 25 years in Asia. When asked “To you, what is the most beautiful sound in the world?” she replies that, visiting so many Muslim countries throughout her travels, what comes to mind is the call to prayer. The thought that so many people at the same time are down on their knees in prayer always makes her stop and think about her own religion, taking time to reflect.

Ehen COVID hit in 2020, Rahila was in assisted living and Dr. Foad couldn’t visit her. After 53 years of marriage, they were separated for months.
