Introduction:

TRC with a prime clerkships provider in the USA is offering US Hospital clinical experience packages for students who are in medical training internationally. This is intended for students who not only wish to gain high quality instruction and supervision by US doctors but also for those who ultimately intend practicing in the USA and who will need the recommendation and references that this experience brings in order to be in a more advantageous position when applying for US Teaching Hospital Fellowships post their MD. TRC has arranged three exclusive US clerkship experiences for its students, where they are assigned to highly experienced Preceptors for their clinical experience.

NEW YORK (BROOKLYN)

Internal Medicine

This preceptor has 30 years of experience and is affiliated to multiple hospitals, including Kings Countryand Methodist and Preceptor has direct experience with residency program application process.

You will receive guaranteed hands-on element during each 5 days in the clinic and 2 days in a hospital.

Trainees have the opportunity to earn a hospital letter of recommendation. 4 week and 6 week packages are available.

INTERNAL MEDICINE / NEPHROLOGY

This Preceptor has over 20 year of experience and is affiliated to multiple hospitals, including Prince George's Hospital Center, Doctors Community Hospital, Medstar Washington Hospital Center, Washington Adventist Hospital and Howard University Hospital. This Preceptor speicalises in and enjoys teaching however if trainee demonstrates appropriate preparedness and abilities you will experience a minimal supervised hands-on element with least 25% inpatient experience. Trainees have the opportunity to earn to teaching hospital letter of recomendation.

General Surgery Rotations

This Preceptor has 40 years of experience and affiliated at multiple hospitals, including; Norwegian American, St. Bernard, RML Specialty Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital and also direct experience with the application process for residency programmes. If the trainee demonstrates appropriate preparedness and abilities you will experience a minimal supervised hands-on element with at least 50% inpatient experience. Trainees have the opportuni- ty to earn a hospital letter of recommendation. 4 week and 6 week packages are available.
