Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) reagent is a ready-to-use kit designed for LAMP reactions. This kit includes all necessary components except primers and templates. Unlike traditional real-time qPCR technology, LAMP requires four to six template-specific primers and DNA polymerase with strand displacement activity, allowing amplification to be completed within an hour under isothermal conditions. Detection can be achieved visually using dyes, eliminating the need for costly qPCR instruments or electrophoresis. The LAMP assay offers high specificity, sensitivity, and a broad detection range comparable to real-time qPCR. Its affordability and efficiency make it an emerging trend in diagnostic technology.
The global LAMP reagent market was valued at USD 1,244 million in 2024 and is projected to reach USD 2,014.15 million by 2032, growing at a CAGR of 5.50%. CAGR of 5.50% (2025 – 2032)
