Under the expert guidance of Prof. Paul J. Armstrong, this project delves into the design of mixed-use skyscrapers with a strong focus on systems integration and sustainability. The primary objective is to reimagine urban habitats and infrastructures, particularly within riverfront contexts.Drawing upon extensive expertise in highrise structures, the project emphasizes the creation of spaces that are not only architecturally compelling but also enhance community interaction and aesthetic appeal. The design philosophy champions simplicity, minimalism, and elegance, ensuring that each structure seamlessly integrates with its environment while fostering a cohesive urban experience. This endeavor aims to demonstrate how innovative design can bridge the gap between urban density and environmental sustainability, ultimately contributing to more vibrant and resilient urban communities.

Abstract :
This thesis “Proposed National Institute of design at Jaipur” is in partial fullment of requirements of degree of Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch).
The Research is complete while design process will be In Sem 10 according to guidelines of university of Mumbai. In the following portfolio only the research work with site studies and design derivatives in explained.
The Thesis focuses on the Nature and importance of unbuilt and its relation with respect to built environment in an institutional setup. Thesis explores the creative learning approach to be achieved through spatial quality and interaction of spatial design with learning .
The National Institute of Design in India is well-known for its contributions to design education, research, and innovation. It is an umbrella institution which has multidisciplinery programs recognised by the world under one roof. This thesis of setting up new NID in Jaipur will be a boon not only for all those aspiring designers but also will help to uplift the businesses and local craft industries of state of Rajasthan. It envisions and intends to create an NID as a place for Co Learning & Collaboration which promotes social sustainability as its key element. Literature studies unfolds the studies about the spaces designed by the post modern architects and contemporary architects. Chapter speaks about those elements of design which create an institution . Study analyses the types of Work ,live and Play spaces and its spatial quality in an institution. Research briefs about the daylighting strategies which are suitable for harsh climate of Rajasthan. The study evaluates the nature of light required into these spaces which has direct effect on human perception. Abstract
Project was based in South africa. Design challenge was about climate and having a bungalow to be set within a part of huge plot. Design idea evolved through experimentations with concept of simplicity and minimalism in design. Concept evolved creating modules which are introvert in nature yet connected with around a central space. Bunglow is divided into 2 blocks connected by welcoming courtyard having family spaces at one side connected with swimming pool and other part of bungalow having guest bedrooms with vistas. I was fortunate to be part of design as well as execution drawings initiation process as part of ofce (studio).Project demanded a temple and lawn space which eventually became a part of master plan for future expansion.
