Architecture is more than just building design; it is how buildings fit into the larger context of their dwellers’ lives. We can attempt to create a parallel between our imagination and the world in which we live by creating our own unique creations.... The following collection is a compilation of my work and professional abilities. It expresses my love of design and architecture as well as my admiration for it.

The heavy inflow of tourists has led to severe pressure on Himachal Pradesh’s ecology. One of the reasons for this is the concentration of a few tourist destinations. Moreover, there is a serious need to create sustainable tourism around Himachal Pradesh to make it sustainable. The main intent for choosing this topic is to enhance the tourism of potentially rich yet unexplored places on the foothills of the Himalayas.

Design Intent
The Eco-tourism center and resort project will focus on

• Be made of predominantly natural materials, sourced locally and sustainably
• Include renewable energy technologies to provide most or all of the power
• Draw design inspiration from local architecture and blend it into the landscape
• To create an opportunity for the local people as well as for the tourist to get the essence of the context, keeping alive the essence.
• To make space a center of public interaction and activities that reflects the people, cultural traditions of the region.

Floor Plan
The main entrance opens on both sides, from the main porch as well as from parking behind, allowing free movement into various sections of the building.
The main structure, which includes the reception, eating area, lounge, hall room, is constructed on the vastest flat ground available on the site.

Minimum concrete has been used and traditional architecture has been reinvented to give a modern look to dry stone construction practices. A pitched roof has been provided.

And to experience the wilderness, an outside sitting area has been proposed semi-covered with wooden trellis. at both restaurant and cafeteria.

Section through Approach Road

Common Dining Hall
Detailing of the Facia Boards used, along with wooden columns and railing.

Floor Plan
The building is inspired by traditional Himachali temples to give it a distinct aesthetic that sets it apart from the rest of the structures.
Ground Floor Plan

Front Elevation

Darbargarh, Sainj, inspired the entire building. The plinth has been raised by the same height due to a contour difference of 3’ on the extreme ends. There are dining spaces for 80 people on level 1, and centrally situated stairs and lifts take us to the second level for leisure activities and a projection gallery with a panoramic view of the lake on one end and the hills on the other.

First Floor Plan
The facia boards, columns, and railing have been meticulously detailed to provide an aged rustic aspect. Concrete is used sparingly. Dry stone construction utilizes locally sourced materials.

Pitched
The museum gallery displays a variety of items, including wall paintings, woodcraft, and stone carvings, that reflect the region’s art and craft. On the elevations with false windows, to preserve the symmetry, wood carvings and meticulous detailing were employed to provide an antique impression and to express the great craftsmanship of the local community.
Musuem BlockGrouped Lodgings

The majority of the guest area is unpainted, and what little paint there is in the natural colors of wood and mud.

Guests arrive on the ground floor at the lobby/reception area and then proceed to their rooms via the stairways and corridors. The entire property, both inside and out, is only in natural tones.
The vibrant scenes of flower beds teeming with blossoms right in front of the buildings— and the endless view of the mountains and lake in front.

A similar level of detailing has been applied to the facade in order to unify the architecture grammar of the entire complex. Dry Stone wall construction is used.

The market will be operated entirely by locals, who will be able to sell all of their produce, including organic fruits and vegetables. Handlooms, art and craft, and so on.

The
Horticulture plantations, such as seasonal local fruiting trees and flowering plants, have facilitated the pathway that leads to these cottages, allowing users to experience the “out in the woods” experience.
These detached cottages provide an intimate family experience.

The exteriors are stone-clad, with galleries that open up to the site’s vast natural greenery.

The family cabins may accommodate two parents and two to three children.

The entire structure has been raised around 7 feet in order to make use of the projecting galleries, which will provide views of the entire landscape as well as the lake in front.

02
Station House Modular Design

Proposed Site - Punjab

Academic Project, Sem 03
Main Objective - To create a form that can be replicated on any possible site. It was concluded that the honeycomb structure is to be used in this design since it’s the most stable form existing in nature naturally. For flexibility in its usage for different site dimensions, different conditions of usage, and better circulation and full usage of a given area. In this planning, each module can be replicated in any possible site of a given area.

Relative to Cube the hexagonal form is inherently more stable without added structure.

The Hexagonal plan can be combined into various combinations of clusters that can enclose shared green spaces. This phenomenon can be termed Generative Clustering.

Design Blow Up
Hexagons – Minimum volume and maximum surface area for usage. That allows us to expand in any size and from any side. Thus, can be replicated in a site of any size after minor changes.

GREEN SPACE
Urban Planning Flexibility
The Hexagonal plan can be combined into various combinations of clusters that can enclose shared green spaces. This phenomenon can be termed as Generative Clustering. Whether linear or Radial these clusters can be oriented to allow for accessible drives and pedestrian Walkways.
LINEAR CLUSTERS - Urban Grid
Escape Route –Since having only a single entrance in the building it can pose a great threat to police people living inside to escape so designed an escape route through Malkhana that ends at the backside of the building.
Interior – Colors that provide a homely feel to the police station, thus more welcoming people and officers working there.
Material – Bison boards everywhere, in cladding, in designing, they can be painted, screwed, nailed, even ceramic tiles can be applied over them, extremely low maintenance and highly durable material that is Fireproof, waterproof, used where the acoustics are needed.
RADIAL CLUSTERS - Urban Grid
In the circle, we can get the maximum area for minimum circumference resulting in less usage of material in construction if we use circular form. But voids can’t be avoided so a lot of space is wasted in using the circular form, then coming to octagon form which is near to circle as well will have square voids and the corridors will come out non-pleasing and cornered as well. So, the hexagon can come out to be a much more usable form to reduce material usage and increase the carpet area to be used.

Academic Project, Sem 06
Brief - To understand the design of simple service and structureoriented buildings. And to justify the subject, content, and context by appropriate architectural interventions and design. Designing this Museum is not just a building but an experience and journey the user will enjoy from having real-life experience of Essence of Indian Architecture starting from Indus Valley Civilisation to British Colonial Architecture. The journey won’t just end here as time is always moving forward there is always scope for future expansion.

As we enter the visitors are provided aroundabout which will be a drop-off location. After it the vehicle goes to the parking. Another service entry has been provided for easy flow movement of service vehicles carrying artifacts to the back of pods near cafeteria(2), Also that service entry will be used for the services required for the Cafeteria too. The entry to the podium Museum is barricaded and they can enter the Museum zone through main office(1) only after buying the required tickets. After completing the tour they will exit from the 5th pod adjacent to the cafeteria(2) which is connected to parking. Since each pod show, different era visitors can have the option to enter and exit through the desired pod at any time
Indian Architecture is Vast and It’s rooted in its History, Culture, and Religion. Indian architecture, belonging to different periods of history, bears the stamp of respective periods. Designing this Museum is not just a building but an experience and journey the user will enjoy from having real-life experience of Essence of Indian Architecture starting from Indus Valley Civilisation to British Colonial Architecture. The journey won’t just end here as time is always moving forward there is always scope for future Expansion.

Assissted in making the Renderings and Visualization. This house is designed as a place to escape to on the weekends and holidays. The homeowners, therefore, wanted the building to be as unobtrusive as possible while maintaining a connection to the outside and allowing for a view across to the grand lawn in front.

Site Plan and Main Level Plan

The site is located 2.5kms from the famous Windansea Beach, This beach has been popular with surfers for decades & features an iconic palm-covered surf shack.
Basement Level Plan
This house is designed as a place to escape to on the weekends and holidays. The homeowners, therefore, wanted the building to be as unobtrusive as possible while maintaining a connection to the outside and allowing for a view across to the grand lawn in front.

Of course, there is much more to this mesmerizing home than just the landscape that surrounds it, as its cantilevered structure sits on a sloped lot and drastically reduces the environmental impact of the construction in a beachy region
The White House project considers comfort and building maintenance in its tropical context. The project was made as a raw and honest dwelling with contours that follow the site ridgeline.

“SIMPLE SMOOTH PLASTER WITH ARCHED”
The backyard patio is a two-tier design constructed with flagstone. The smooth white swimming is the central focal point with outdoor chairs set up to enjoy the area day or night under a small wood pergola bordered by Italian cypress trees on the edge.

The volume of the house was elevated above the ground and built into the lawn, designed to intensify connections between nature and architecture. A night view showing dispersed light through sunscreen making it a “LightBox” in the locality.

Our client was not satisfied with the store’s existing facade which was too simple and did not attract the attention of buyers. Our approach to this problem was to celebrate his facade by Making it much taller and giving it a contemporary look.

With Jimmy’s Rug Gallery/ Store we have Remodeled the existing Facade and its Roof in the City of West Hollywood. Our client was not satisfied with the store’s existing facade which was too simple and did not attract the attention of buyers. Our approach to this problem was to celebrate his facade by Making it much taller and giving it a contemporary look.

Our project is a mixed-use building in which is comprised of a retail rug gallery store in the front and a 3 story residence in the back of it. The building is facing La Cienega Blvd. which is a major Arterial Road running north-south in West Hollywood. This project initially started with the owner disliking the original building of the Rug Gallery in which was a very small building with a gable roof that made it look like a single-family residence. He wanted a larger building where he could display his rugs so they could be seen from the street. Since most of the rugs in his gallery are modern rugs, we decided a take a more modern/ contemporary approach in the design of the remodel of the building. Once construction for the front rug gallery started and the main structure was built, the owner decided that he also wanted to reside in the same building and therefore we went ahead and designed a whole contemporary styled mixed-use building. The following photos are 3-D Renderings of the proposed building.

Material Used:
1. On the store’s front Facade and also the upper front facade of the residential unit on the 3rd Floor, we are using ACM (Aluminum Composite Materials) Panels.

2. On the side of the building, Ribbed PBD Wall Panels will be used Vertically.

The plan is inspired by the beauty of the western sky. Inspired by the star systems, a futuristic living space plan has been created, consisting of four areas and a new pedestrian and cycling bridge connecting them.

The vastness and beauty of the starry sky are breathtaking. Far-reaching light fascinates and inspires the imagination; Imagine what all-star systems can inspire in a new neighborhood. Through space, man is associated with the greater. The historical buildings of the area create a similarly peaceful atmosphere to the present area and should therefore be retained. New construction is boldly different from old and together with new and old create an interesting new space.
The work is an exploration of imagination, courage, and activity inspired by the western sky and its heroes. The night sky, with its stars and northern lights, is also one of the most important aspects of tourism in the area, which, especially during the dark season, can be used as a theme in the planning of the future residential area.
SECTION A-A’
The new building is visible in the direction of the city as a white and colored floor over the old red brick structure. The new blocks towards the sea form a white, icy-like formation, with the colors of the facades varying from white to clear glass.

SECTION B-B’
Between the residential buildings and the beach is a planted slope that effectively absorbs stormwater. There are also green surfaces on the yard and part of the coating can be made with, for example, rainwater-absorbing grass.

SECTIOND-D’
The curved green canopies on the edges of the blocks and the abundant trees in the area help to create a good microclimate as well as to delay stormwater.
SECTION C-C’With the Hietasaarentie side spine consisting of three four-story apartment blocks, the theme of which could be compactness and affordability, allowing the block to provide young people with their own apartment; or a grandparent who wants to live near their grandchildren.

In the area there is a walking path that has been raised higher with a fortified earthquake, creating a floodplain in an otherwise quite lower area. The beach path is also reinforced with a flood barrier, which provides double protection for the small house area. There must be some ground filling up to +3.0 m inside the inner barrier.
The Natura area has been preserved and a lot of unbuilt green space has been left around, which serves as a protected and recreational area in relation to the Hietasaari green area and the recreational area in the west. The vegetation of the green area is deciduous.
The surface structures of the courtyard and the square are equipped with biofiltration structures and the rainwater is led in a controlled manner to the absorption sites. Coatings use eg. large tiles combined vividly with small natural stone. In this area, evergreen conifers are favored for vegetation because of the dry moraine soil in the area.
Inside the area, you will find a car-free, peaceful courtyard and yard street and a pleasant sheltered climate. The courtyards open up and lead towards the beach and, on the other hand, towards the functional square lined with old buildings as the curved facades of the new apartment buildings create a slowly changing framed seascape.

The façade is in such a way that the mortar is slightly out of the seam when masonry. The seam is shaped and sealed with a slightly beveled drill bit at the end so that the seam follows the shape of the brick edge. In some places, the seam can also go slightly over the brick. The Colour scheme is chosen in accordance with the neighborhood buildings to preserve the prehistoric style of the Wooden Kapyla.
