Designed in June 2022 as a group project, this gatehouse at Wellington Beach was made for the Rotary Club of Wellington as a transformable structure that serves as shelter for staff and an entrance for beach visitors. The bright yellow house includes a movable roof and shaded door to create moments of peace and tranquility.

Designed in Fall 2020, Sonoria is a three series project that explores the concept of the wave and its reflections to create a series of spaces of social interaction. Each piece explores the concept of the wave in a new manner.
An echo is produced when a wave form is reflected off a surface creating a series of cascading circular forms. Using the intersections of concentric waves to create an abstract series of enclosures, Sonoria explores how one can manipulate wave forms to creating a successful space for students and visitors alike.

When we were tasked with designing a kinetic system, my teammate and I tested the concept of mobile modular units. Intrigued by the idea of spaces reliant on the passage of time, we directed our efforts towards daycare systems. The final product was a four-piece series of spaces that changed in configuration based on the time of day and usage requirements.

As part of a group project in April 2021, Inflo-Aqua was designed to be a wearable hydrotherapy suit. The suit uses sensors to detect a sudden increase in heartbeat and temperature indicating that the user is in distress. It responds by inflating and engaging the silicon to wrap around the body to cool and regulate temperature.

Conceptualised through a combination of research and design across two semesters, The Vestis was as part of my senior thesis in April 2022 and designed as a dramatic response to the climate crisis. Set in a dystopian future, the suit is a triple-layered response system that adapts and responds to the harsh environmental conditions projected in the next few decades.
This series includes a selection from 24 newspapers covers, content pages and print magazine spreads, designed at The Varsity between September 2021 and April 2022 under my creative direction.
