This project uses the biophilic design concept, that focuses on the idea of having a direct impact on your subconscious, contributing to your emotions and perceptions to help the user’s mental health healing process, based on the fact that space psychology can lead to accelerated recovery in health developments.

The tensile membrane allows the centre to have a unique shaped roof. On top of that, with the garden that is going on within the centre, it needs direct sunlight, therefore i designed 3 open ings located in strategic place to allow thesun light hits vegetations inside the mem brane. This openings also enhances the cross ventilation as well as allowing the hot air rises above and escape through.
The interior of consultation pods guarantees the user’s privacy and comfort. Each pods has its own views to the surrounding landscape
the consultation pods are mounted on tiny islands and has a proximity to the river for ambience and sound. The 3 openings on tensile roofs is part of the sustainable design strategies.

Bambooe Gallery is an infill project it is designed for Batik Artist: Farah Mohan situated in Jalan Tuba, Kampung Attap. She describes her artwork to be a modern contemporary batik unlike the typical traditional clothing approach. A lot of her artworks is based off of animation characters and folklore story. Farah Mohan uses Batik as a medium to tell a story.
The Artist’s artwork is an atypical one. Farah mohan paints her art with a batik medium. She describes her arts as a modern contemporary Batik. This combination of modern art (Painting) with Traditional medium (Batik), is also a description of “fluidity” in art interpretation.
Inspired by the Fluidity of Fabric that is used in the artwork, I wanted to create a fluidity in terms of the gallery as well as the circulations within the space itself. One of the way to incorporate fluidity in the gallery is by having her grand art hanging through out gallery.
These are the interior perspectives of Floating Gallery. The Concrete steps places 200 mm ported by concrete slaby undernearth then the gap is filled by shallow water or pond that concrete. It is located underneath open skylight where the batik Fabric Hangs from the roof in the space and gives depth into the Art Display.
mm away from each other is sup give the impression of floating roof that creates playful shadows
