The phenomenon of a consumptive urban society is not a new thing This phenomenon appears together with the lifestyle of someone who always wants to be seen more among others and the phenomenon arises due to the influence of the neighborhood. The lifestyle of people living in urban areas is very different from the lifestyle of rural communities. The lifestyle of urban society is more complex because it adapts to the surrounding environment and adjusts to the standard of living. The Behavior Setting concept is the right concept to facilitate the lifestyle of urban communities and address the need to have a place to live Mixed use building is designed to be able to facilitate the general public and be able to facilitate residential owners The design will process a vertical building that is able to maximize the quality of life of its inhabitants in coping with the lifestyle that is happening. The main thing to note is the provision of facilities and open space as a place to gather.
SITE ANALYSIS
Site located at the heart of West Surabaya known as central business district West Surabaya There’s 10 meters road in front of the site and alwys been dense around morning and evening
Site is surrounded by hospital, university, supermarket,and café. Most of them use alluminium composite panels as their façade
EXISTING CONDITION of SURROUNDING SITE
This building can be accessed from the front and back. the front area is prioritized for car access while the back area is prioritized for motorbike access so that circulation in the building runs well around the building is equipped with a garden area to maximize the green open area
This building consists of two main areas, first the apartment area on the left and the mall on the right. on the back side there is an open space that can be used for gathering and relaxing The lobby is located at two points, in front and behind to make it easier for visitors
On the third floor there is an open space dedicated to apartment residents The open space can be used for relaxing, jogging and also a play area
On the residential floor, on each floor there is an area for gathering so that each occupant can interact and outdoor space is provided in the corner area to relax.

“ I “ House
Home is a place where the life of its users takes place. Each residential house has its own character which is influenced by the character of the owner or user to fulfil user needs The client is a family with four children, but only 2 children live in the house. Because the hobby of the child is gathering with friends, so the issue of spatial planning in the house that can maintain family privacy, especially parents of guests who often visit. In addition to these issues, the issue of the pandemic is also being discussed in order to bring a healthy and safe home.

This house consists of two floors, on the ground floor there are semi-private rooms such as living room, family room, pantry, kitchen, and master bedroom. the family room area is placed near the backyard so that air circulation is smooth. the service area is placed parallel to the area on the left to make it easier for the housekeeping to access on the second floor there are private rooms such as children's bedrooms, work spaces and family rooms.

Area ruang keluarga langsung terhubung ke taman samping. Hal tersebut bertujuan untuk memberikan ruang terbuka hijau dalam rumah dan agar sirkulasi udara baik
Desain overstek diterapkan pada atap untuk mengurangi paparan cahaya matahri langsung dan menghindari tampias air hujan.
Penggunaan roster agar
udara tetap bisa menjangkau ruangan dan menambah estetika pada bangunan
Eksterior bangunan menggunakan cat putih agar dapat memantulkan cahaya dan panas matahri sehingga suhu dalam ruangan tidak terlalu panas
- Terdapat 2 inner courtyard - Setiap kamar memiliki bukaan dan menghadap langsung kearah luar untuk memaksimalkan day lighting dan cross ventilation
Terdapat kolam ikan di area front courtyard dan area inner courtyard yang berfungsi untuk menurunkan suhu ruang, karena udara panas akan diredam oleh elemen air.
