The  joint  all-star  teams  —  formed  from  players  still  technically  un- der  the  Mount  Abraham,  Vergennes  and  Middlebury  league  umbrellas  —  followed  up  a  regular  season  of  countywide  play  at  all  Little  League  levels  —  Farm,  Minors  and  Majors  —  among  the  leagues’  teams.  That  season  culminated  on  June  18,  when  Lincoln  defeated  Starksboro  for  WKH ÂżUVW HYHU 0DMRUV $GGLVRQ &RXQW\ Little  League  Baseball  championship. Reiss Hendee (age 11) and Rory Hendee (age 8) are new volunteers at The United Way of Addison County. During their time volunteering at UWAC Reiss and Rory (a brother and sister duo) helped with sorting and organizing program pamphlets, decorating signage, and volunteering to participate in campaign videos. Both are new to volunteering at an agency but they have been active participants within their community through their school and towns of residence. When asked if they enjoyed their time volunteering they said “it was a lot easier than we thought, we got a lot done in a little bit of time!” A great example that many hands make light work. Reiss and Rory are new to volunteering but we anticipate that this is just the beginning of their volunteering career! Thank you for your energy and commitment Reiss and Rory!
