

I amcurrently the Design Director(Architect) designateat Jaspar Group, a property development company based in Stanmore, London. I form part ofthe Senior Leadership Team panel and head up the Design & Planning arm of the business –where I am a direct report to a group of development professionals including Architects, Planners and Surveyors (in-house). I also perform aDesign Managerroleto a host of external Consultants. Collectively, delivering projectsfrom conceptionthroughto completion. During the early stages, I undertake a Design Architect role; navigating schemes from capacity study through to planning approval (RIBA stages 1-4). Following this, my responsibility extends to the PreConstruction phase of the project; where I lead the Design Team (formed of external consultants) through the detailed design stages in readiness for mobilisationandconstruction (RIBA stages 5-7)-incorporating cost management and programme management remits.

Project responsibilities include but not limited to:
Leading the Pre-Construction phase and navigating the Design Team (formed of external consultants)including:Architect, Landscape
Architect, Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineers, QS, Fire Consultant, Approved Inspector, Transportand others.
Chairing DTMs and workshops with groups of 20+ people.
Monitoring technical design, programmes(design and construction) and procurement tracker.
Manage the design process using commercial, contractual, programme/time awareness and technical expertise.
Ensure the design process recognises current legislation, standards and codes of practice where appropriate.
Develop and implement the drawing and document control systems and protocols.
Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, statutory authorities and stakeholders as required to build key project relationships.
Assist the QS and provide input on value engineering
