I will encourage current members to extend invitations tofriends and family and work to increase the club’s visibility and presence across social media and local media platforms. Collaboration with other organizations for joint events and initiatives will be pursued to broaden our reach To raise awareness of Pilot’s values, I will prioritize educational efforts that inform both the community and our members about the mission and history of Pilot. Publicly celebrating milestones and achievements, as well as developing informative outreach materials and presentations, will further support these efforts I am dedicated to cultivating an inclusive environment where every memberfeels a sense of belonging, supported by a safe and enjoyable atmosphere that nurtures meaningful connections. Furthermore, I am committed to ensuring our club leaves a significant and positive impact on the Abaco community through sustainable service projects and empowering members to lead value-driven initiatives.Together, we can strengthen our club, inspire positive changes, and build a legacy.

President Elect, Anitha L. Cooper was introduced to Pilot International through Pilot Club of Lucaya in 2009 by Betty Smith and Lorraine Dawkins. When she attended her veryfirst meeting, she knew that the organization was one offriendship and service indeed. Anitha officially became a member ofthe Grand Bahama Club in 2010 and was eager to serve her community through the organization for a greater impact

Anitha’s lovefor Pilot grew and her involvement in her local club intensified. Anitha served as Secretary, Director of Membership, Leadership, Project,; Fundraising Division and also elevated to the position of President Elect. In 2017, Anitha resigned from Pilot Club of Lucaya when she relocated to Abacofor work While in Abaco, for 3 years, Anitha’s served in Pilot Club of Abaco and made a huge impact on the corporate community through her persuasive skills. She persuaded many to support this non profit organization. Corporate leaders were delighted to support Pilot Club of Abaco through our projects and fundraising initiatives In 2020, Pilot Anitha went back to Grand Bahama, so it was natural to pick up where she left off, her lovefor Pilot keeps her connected. In 2022, Anitha became Pilot Club of Lucaya’s 20th President, just 6 months into her presidency, Anitha was summoned back to Abaco to lead a team at the Abaco Club. Despite relocating midway through her presidency, President Anitha never missed a meeting nor project or other divisional initiative. In fact some membersfailed to believe she was working on another island. President Anitha finished her year strong! Anitha now serves as President Elect ofthe Pilot Club of Abaco and herfocus is to increase the Club’s membership by10%. Another goal is to increase visibility ofthe local club through service projects and social media presence.
